Nobu Hotel Shoreditch
The brand’s first UK hotel from the sushi maestro is set to inject some grandeur into east London’s grit this spring after months of delays. With rooms worthy of a Vogue Living feature and a 240-seat restaurant dishing up Nobu’s signature menu, punters will be spreading the word about this new bolthole for months to come.
Lympstone Manor, Devon
For larks on the beach and jaunts around the Jurassic Coast, this country pile – opening 3 April – is perfectly placed. And with Michelin-starred chef, Michael Caines, at the helm, it’s also a prime cut for culinary travellers. From what I’ve seen, Lympstone Manor is confident, romantic and a place to linger for a long time.
The Ned, London
This new opening looks like it’ll be knocking the socks off the capital this year. For starters it’s from Soho House & Co – making it the ultimate sceney bolthole and members’ club. Elsewhere, there will be nine restaurants, including an outpost of Mayfair’s Cecconi’s, a rooftop pool of Italian marble with knockout views of St Paul’s and the Gherkin, plus a Cowshed Spa. And whims of its former guise as the Midland Bank are everywhere, from the original silver safety deposit boxes lining the walls of the underground club, to the original 20-tonne door to the vault. Playful and hip, it’s opening April.
Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square
This hotly-anticipated pad (it’s just opened!) has got all the hallmarks of a London hotel heavyweight, from its instagrammable façade to its typically chic spa. Elsewhere, the La Dame de Pic restaurant is set to cause a stir with a menu by Anne-Sophie Pic – the only three-Michelin-starred female chef in France, whilst the Rotunda Bar & Lounge is the place to retox on cocktails after nightfall.
