From shaking my tail feathers at the Trinidad Carnival and sailing around the Burmese archipelago to roadtripping across Utah and kayaking down the Zambezi, I’ve been lucky enough to take on some incredible challenges over the past decade. Having backpacked across South America and Southeast Asia in my early twenties, I was well and truly infatuated with travel. And bagging my dream job as deputy editor on one of the UK’s biggest travel magazines, National Geographic Traveller (UK) fuelled my obsession even further. Then in 2015, my little boy, Charlie came along and everything changed. I decided to leave my job and go freelance whilst setting up Blonde Almond to document my thoughts and finds in travel, as well as life as a mum. Enjoy 🙂
